Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Founder membership work? +
Annual payment: $499/year. The price stays fixed for 24 months. At the end of the first term you may renew at a 20% discount off the standard Pro price.
Why is the Founder Program priced this way? +
We want to grow with the engineers who believed in us early. The first 500 users get a lifetime "Founder Member" badge, a ~37% discount, and a 24-month price lock. After 500 sales the program closes — Founder status becomes a one-time accomplishment.
What's included? Same as Pro? +
Yes — full Pro license. CAM, CAE (beta), file encryption, BilTAY Cloud, Turkish standards library, email support. PLUS: Founder badge, voting rights, AMA access, beta priority, recovery key, ecosystem credit.
Can I cancel? +
You can cancel anytime, but the Founder discount is tied to the 24-month lock. If you cancel during this period, you can reactivate within 60 days and keep the lock. After that, you switch to standard Pro pricing.
Is the recovery key really sent to my inbox? +
Yes — encrypted recovery key emailed during onboarding. Keep it safe. Even if BilTAY disappears, you can decrypt your imge files with this key. No one else can access them — not us, not anyone.
What happens to my encrypted files if my subscription ends? +
They always open. Encryption is tied to your user identity, not to the subscription. If your subscription ends, you drop into read-only mode after a 30-day grace period — you can still open and view files and export to STEP/IGES/STL. With the recovery key your files stay accessible for life.
Can I transfer my Founder membership to someone else? +
No. The licence is personal; in Pro the user identity is the key and the licence. Transfer is not possible, but the Enterprise edition offers employee offboarding so files can be handed over securely.
When does the program close? +
When 500 founding members have registered. The live counter at the top of this page shows how many seats are left. Once full, this offer is permanently gone.
Privacy / GDPR / KVKK? +
Your information is processed only for license management and product communication. Not shared with third parties. You can request deletion anytime. Stored on Turkey servers (data residency in Turkey, GDPR-compatible). Details: /en/privacy.
